To connect your email box to the Spark email client you need to create an email box at WPX.
If you already have an email box created with WPX, follow the steps below to set up your Spark Application.
Step 1. Log in to your WPX account
You can log in to your WPX account here.
Step 2. Navigate to your hosting plan
You can either find your hosting service through the navigation menu or within your dashboard. Once you log in to your WPX account select My Services (1) → WordPress Hosting (2).
Then you will see all of your hosting services with us. When you find the plan that you want to manage, you need to select the orange button Manage service.
Step 3. Locate email settings.
If you already know where your email settings are located, you can skip this step.
You can find the email settings in your emails sent from WPX here (must be logged in to view the page). Look for the email subject that includes the email box you want to set up.
For example, the settings for support@wpxexample.net are in the following email:
You can also find the Mail server settings in the E-mail Boxes menu.
Step 4. Navigate to your Spark application and open it.
Enter your email box address and then click the arrow button to proceed:
Step 5. Fill in the email settings.
In the next section, click on Additional Settings as shown in the screenshot below to connect your email box manually:
You have two sections to fill out, the first one for the Incoming and the second one for the Outgoing Server.
In our example the Outgoing server is s28.wpx.net and we’re using port 993 with an SSL connection.
The Outgoing Server server is the same as the incoming, the only difference is in the email port that is used – 465.
Once you’re ready with all the settings click on the Log In button.
At this point, the Spark client will verify all the settings you entered and if everything is correct you will be guided in a tutorial from Spark to set up your preferences for managing your emails such as inbox layouts and so forth.
