How can I set a Two-Factor Authentication for my WPX account – Email?

In this article, we’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as a secondary login factor for your WPX account. Ensuring the security of your account is paramount, and implementing 2FA adds an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access.

Let’s get started on securing your WPX account!

Step 1. Log in to your WPX account

You can log in to your WPX account here.

Step 2. Select the Security menu under My Account

Once you are on the Security page click on the Configure Two-Factor Authentication button:

Then you’ll see the two 2FA methods – Google Authenticator and Email.

Step 3. Activate 2FA

Select the Activate button under Email MFA. Click on the Send one-time code via Email.

Check the email box that you used to register your WPX account for the verification code.

Once you fill in the code you’ll get a message in your admin panel and a second mail that the activation is successful:

Please note that you can have only one method active at a time. To switch, deactivate your current one and activate the other.

That’s it! You’ve successfully activated the chosen two-factor authentication method.
