How can I connect my WPX Email Account with Mac Mail (Mojave Version 10.14.6)?

In this tutorial, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide to configuring/MA your WPX Email account to work on your Apple Mac Mail application. If you don’t have an email account with us check our article in the knowledge base first.

Step 1. Log in to your WPX account.

You can log in to your WPX account here.

Step 2. Email settings.

If you already know where your email settings are located, you can skip this step.

You can find the email settings in your emails sent from WPX here. Look for the email subject that includes the email box you want to set up.

For example, the settings for support@wpxexample.net are in the following email:

If you have trouble finding the email with the settings, navigate to My ServicesWordPress HostingManage Service (next to the hosting plan you’re managing).

Select the E-mail Boxes menu. You can change the email password () and send the settings (2) to an email address of your choosing. When you are done with the changes, click on the Submit (3) button.

Some mailboxes use a different email username from the email address depending on the server that you are hosted on. If the email username is different from your email address, you need to use that username to connect your email address with any mail client.

Step 3. Add a new account.

To begin with, go to the System Preferences screen where you can adjust various options on your Mac OS. Select the Internet Accounts to proceed;

Here, you will see a list of the different accounts you have registered, including iCloud, Facebook, Vimeo, etc. Scroll down and select the Add Other Account option then select Mail Account.

Step 4. Fill in the Email account settings.

After adding a new Mail Account, fill in the menu shown in the screenshot above;

  • Enter your Full Name, or as you would like it to appear on your sent email;
  • Enter your Email Address;
  • Enter your email account’s password;
  • Click the Sign In button;
  • A message should appear saying “Account must be manually configured” and a new window will pop up.

Step 5. Finishing up.

You need to add your Email Username, Password (1), and the Incoming/Outgoing (2) servers because by default they will not be correctly filled by the macOS.

The Incoming/Outgoing servers are always the same. They are corresponding to the server hostname.

The server hostname can be seen in My ServicesWordPress HostingManage Service (next to the hosting plan you’re managing) → and Service details (under Server Details).

When you fill in the correct information, click on the Sign-in button.

That’s it! Your WPX Email account is now connected with your Mac.
