Transferring your domain to the same hosting provider helps manage your online business more conveniently since it spares you the need to communicate with two separate providers.
In terms of price, you need to renew your domain for another year with your new registrar – WPX. There is no actual cost for the transfer or any additional fees.
You can check the available TLDs here to make sure that you can transfer the domain name to WPX.
Domain transfer requirements
- You need to have a valid EPP key from your current domain registrar for this domain;
- The domain should be unlocked in your current domain registrar.
Step 1. Log in to your WPX account.
You can log in to your WPX account here.
Step 2. Go to the Domains menu.
Once you log in to your WPX account, select My services (1) → Domains (2) → Buy new domains (3). You can also use the following link directly.

Step 3. Select the transfer option.
To start the transfer, search (1) for the domain and click on the Transfer (2) button next to it.

Select the green cart to start the checkout process.

Step 4. Checkout process.
The most important thing is to have the EPP Auth code from your previous domain Register and make sure that the domain is unlocked. If you haven’t completed those, the domain transfer won’t be successful.
Fill in the EPP Auth code (1), and then you have the option to either order a hosting (2) with that domain name or continue (3) without a new hosting service.

Check if everything looks okay with the order and select the Checkout button.

Step 5. Pay the invoice for the transfer.
Once you click on the checkout button, an invoice for the transfer will be generated. You need to pay the invoice to start the domain transfer process.
You can check your invoices from the following link.
