In this article, we will provide a step-by-step guide on transferring a purchased domain away from WPX by unlocking and finding the EPP code. Information will cover how to do that from your WPX Client panel.
Step 1. Log in to your WPX account
You can log in to your WPX account here.
Step 2. Navigate to your Domain Menu
Once you log in to your WPX account, select My Services (1) → Domains (2). From there you can choose the domain you would like to unlock.
Then you will see all of your domains with us. When you find the domain you want to manage, select the orange button Manage domain.
Step 3. Unlocking your Domain
After navigating to the desired domain, you can find the unlock option under the Domain details (1) → Registrar lock (2).
Once you click on it, it will open a drop-down menu. You can choose the OFF (1) option and Save Changes (2), which will disable the domain lock.
Step 4. Checking your Authorization/EPP code
To check the EPP code for your domain, you would need to navigate to the Auth Info/ EPP key (1/2) section and button.
A menu will open with the Request Auth Info/EPP key button, which you should click to view the current key for the domain.
