If you are using CloudFlare’s services along with our hosting, you will have to update the A Records of your website at CloudFlare.
Here is a simple, three-step process to fix this;
Firstly, log in to your CloudFlare account.
Select your domain (1) and click DNS (2) to update your DNS Records;
Now you’ll find yourself in Cloudflare’s DNS editor. You’ll find the relevant information below;
The next step is to check the IP address of the server hosting your websites. You can do this from your Dashboard; go to My Services (1) → WordPress Hosting (2) → Service management → Service Details (4);
The Server IP address can be found at the bottom of the Service Details menu, as shown above.
Back at Cloudflare, you can edit the value of a DNS record by clicking on it.
We will now replace the old server’s IP address with WPX Hosting server’s IP.
Bear in mind that you might ALSO have to replace the A Record’s IP in the TXT records or any other custom DNS records.
