How To Set Up Cron Jobs

Cronjobs are one of the few things than can throttle and slow down a server.

It’s very likely if you have experienced a slow loading time with your old hosting, one of the reasons to be a cronjob running every 10 seconds.

On top of that most of the applications default cronjob timer is unnecessarily low, which is another big issue.

In order to prevent that here at WPX Hosting, we have restricted the cronjob access to our users, BUT this doesn’t mean you can’t add any.

If you need a cron job set up for one or more of your sites, please raise a support ticket here:

you need to provide us with the cronjob(s) that you wish to be setup for your website and we will add it for you ASAP.
