How to Upgrade / Downgrade your WPX Hosting Service (the easy way)

To upgrade (or downgrade) your hosting plan, you don’t need to order a whole new hosting package. 

There is a simple upgrade/downgrade feature built in to your Hosting Panel for your convenience!

IMPORTANT!

Before Upgrading or Downgrading your WPX hosting plan(s), PLEASE ensure that your old PayPal subscription has been cancelled! 

If you do not update or cancel your old PayPal subscription, you will continue to pay for a plan you’re no longer using.

To access your Hosting Panel, first you must log in to your WPX Hosting account. 

When logged in, go to My Services (1)  WordPress Hosting  Your Domain and you will then arrive at the Service Details (2) screen, seen below:

From here, you will see the Upgrade/Downgrade (3) option to the right of your current Hosting package.

Click on Upgrade/Downgrade and you will be presented with two drop-down menus above. In these menus, you can select which plan type to upgrade or downgrade to as well as what billing cycle you prefer!

Note: You may only upgrade/downgrade your hosting plan if there are no outstanding invoices.

Select your desired hosting upgrade and billing cycle and click continue.

If you are upgrading to a higher plan, you will be issued a new invoice to cover the new hosting plan. Otherwise, if you are downgrading to a lower hosting package, you will be sent a refund as credit for future payments.

Note: You cannot change the billing cycle of your current hosting plan from here, this must be done via a Support Ticket to our team. Billing cycles can only be changed if you are upgrading/downgrading your plan.

PLEASE REMEMBER!

Before Upgrading or Downgrading your WPX hosting plan(s), PLEASE ensure that your old PayPal subscription has been cancelled! If you do not update or cancel your old PayPal subscription, it will continue to pay for a plan you’re no longer using.
