A suspended hosting plan can leave your website offline, impacting your visitors and potentially your business. In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to address the issue, reinstate your hosting plan, and prevent future disruptions to keep your website running smoothly.
The most common reason a hosting plan is suspended is missed payments. As a result, your websites will stop working, and you won’t be able to manage them. The good news is that your service and websites will be fully restored once the outstanding payment is settled.
Activate suspended hosting
Usually, a suspended hosting means that your renewal invoice for the plan was not paid. To activate your hosting and make all your sites live, you need to log in to your WPX account and pay the related invoice.
Login to your WPX account here.
If you have an unpaid invoice, our system automatically shows a pop-up reminder, leading you to the invoices page. All due invoices are displayed directly on your dashboard.
If you have one or more unpaid invoices, you can use Quick Preview to see the invoice description. Once you find the invoice related to your suspended hosting, click on the View button on the right-hand side which will take you directly to your outstanding invoice.
If you can’t find the invoice here, click View all invoices to see all.
Select the desired payment method and pay the invoice.
Once your payment is processed, the system will start an automatic activation process for your hosting plan.
How to avoid future suspension of your hosting service?
The best way to avoid such issues in the future is to set up a payment subscription. Activating this ensures your plan is renewed automatically without the risk of missing a payment.
