How can I point my WPX domain? (WPX Control Panel)

When purchasing both a domain name and a hosting package from WPX, you will need to set up the nameservers for the domain as well. In this article, we will teach you how to do that from your WPX account.

If your domain was purchased from a different domain registrar e.g. Namecheap or GoDaddy, this article will NOT be relevant for you. If that is your case, you can find how to point your domain name here.

Here are our default nameservers you can use.

NS1.WPX.NET

NS2.WPX.NET

NS3.WPX.NET

Here is how you can manage the nameservers for your WPX domain:

Step 1. Log in to your WPX account

You can log in to your WPX account here.

Step 2. Navigate to your domains

You can either find your domain through the navigation menu or within your dashboard. Once you log in to your WPX account select My Services (1) → Domains (2).

You can now select the domain name that you want to point to the hosting plan using the Nameservers that you already have.

Step 3. Update the Nameservers

Now that you are on your Domain details page, select the Manage service (1) → Our nameservers (2). When you are done with the changes click on the orange button Save Changes (3).

If there were other nameservers previously set (not pointing to our servers), the time needed for a full DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours. In some rare cases, it can take up to 72 hours.

More about the propagation process can be found here.

That’s it! You have now set the Nameservers for your domain and it should start loading shortly!
